Biennale di Venezia, François Pinault Collection and maybe more...
I sincerly apologize... Visiting Venice without your girlfriend IS a bad idea...
beautiful during day time
or the sunset
now I know it...
Welcome to Venezia
Another fabulous thing about Venice is how they cover buildings during construction work...
This is the GUESS Palazio
The REPLAY museo
The Puente del GEOX
Anyway, my plan was to go there to see the Venice Biennale, major contemporary art exhibition that takes place once every two years (thx wikipedia).
Japanese Pavillon: giant picture frames
Scandinavian pavillon: the crib of a 50-year old gay writer
A couple of random pieces of art..
A tree (made of wood bricks)
Boat people
A rainbow
One micro x 12
A hole in the wall
A projector
A cafeteria
Killing two birds with one stone, this was also an opportunity to discover Francois Pinault's great art collection also exhibited in Venice at the beautiful Punta della Dogana and Palazio Grassi.
It is really worth it. Unfortunately, no pics are allowed but I could snap these:
- extracts of the brilliant work from Rob Pruitt
More ot the Rob Pruitt's 101 art ideas you can do yourself
This piece by Piotr Uklanski is titled "Dancing Nazis"
220 pictures of nazis (or actors playing nazis), a huge color dancefloor and loud hip hop music
And on the street...
Kripoe, the German street artist and his yellow fists
and André and his Mr. A
===========================================================
Never overestimate the quality of picture taken by a random tourist in a tourist spot....
The guy I asked could have taking something like this
or like this
But when I asked for a nice picture with the full background, I got this
....
And le meilleur pour la fin....
Re: Venice, for the love of art
